- The Lukoil committee. At an overnight sitting that ended in the early hours of 04.04.2024, parliament set up a temporary committee to check the need for the derogation used by Lukoil and its economic effect for Bulgaria and for the regime in Russia. The GERB/SDS draft decision passed with 151 votes for and 33 against, and Aleksandar Ivanov (GERB/SDS) is listed first in the committee membership voted en bloc. — Mediapool, 04.04.2024
- Fuel exports. In the debate on repealing the ban on diesel exports, Ivanov (GERB) said the ruling majority gave no guarantee that the Bulgarian market would be supplied with fuel, and proposed writing a 20-euro-cent price cut into the decision. The proposal was rejected (65 votes in favour, 119 against); Ivaylo Mirchev of DB said the decision served only Lukoil. — Sega, 23.09.2026
