- Position on the Russian spies case. As a colonel from There Is Such a People he told TV 7/8 that he hoped the prosecution would produce evidence and the court would give a fair judgment, but rejected assessments that the defence system had been breached: "With this particular case they want to achieve aims that are not in the interest of our national security" (our translation).
