• His father – deputy director of Kremikovtsi. In an interview for the newspaper Галерия, reprinted by Blitz.bg, he describes his father as a mechanical engineer with „80 изобретения“ (our translation: 80 inventions), holder of many awards and orders. Corruption and scandals

• Claims he was offered a ministerial post. In an interview reported by News.bg, he says that during the 2025 government crisis an unnamed person outside the government offered him „привилегирована позиция в бъдещо правителство“ (our translation: a privileged position in a future government), including a ministerial post, and that he refused. He spoke shortly after leaving ITN, while criticising the party. The person is not named, no one else confirms it, and no investigation or follow-up was found. — News.bg, 3 January 2026
