Corruption and scandals
- Kardzhali. Emilia Milcheva writes in a Club Z column on the mayor of Kardzhali, Erol Mumyun, being taken in for questioning in a public procurement case: "In his support, besides Peevski, came the deputy speaker of parliament Ayten Sabri, MPs and DPS mayors" (our translation). Mumyun called what was happening "political pressure"; the article does not name Sabri as concerned by the investigation. — Club Z, 29.05.2026
- Kirkovo. According to Sega, the DPS leadership sent her to Kirkovo to talk to the local leaders and calm them, after the local DPS structure there complained publicly of interference in its internal affairs, naming Erol Mumyun and MP Bayram Bayram.
