Russia

  • Ukraine. 24 Chasa reports that Bogomil Petkov of Continue the Change was "the only MP who last Friday voted 'abstain' on granting weapons to the country" (Ukraine; our translation). According to the paper, he told it that Ukraine had refused part of the military aid. — 24 Chasa, 14.12.2022

Corruption and scandals

  • The tip-off. On 24.07.2025 Bogomil Petkov said in the parliament corridors that an official of the Anti-Corruption Commission had phoned to take an explanation on an anonymous tip that, as mayor of Sofia's Vitosha district, he had demanded a 50,000 lev bribe. Petkov says he has never been a district mayor and calls the case "harassment". Nikolay Denkov, co-chair of the Continue the Change parliamentary group, suggested that "someone mixed up the lists" (our translation). — Club Z, 24.07.2025
