Corruption and scandals
- A firm she co-owned in a resale chain for land in Pazardzhik. A-specto.bg, a tabloid-style site hostile to the circle of the GERB mayor in Pazardzhik, writes that land of the Marica cannery in Pazardzhik, which it describes as state property, was acquired by prescription by one person and resold through a chain of firms. According to the site, one link was Vayz Invest, which she co-owned with Ivan Palashev (a friend of the then mayor) and Vasil Savov from 2013 to 2018: „Управителка е първо Дафинка Семерджиева, а след това Иван Палашев.“ (our translation: "The manager is first Dafinka Semerdzhieva, and then Ivan Palashev.") The site also says that, as a lawyer, she registered Ej Dzhi Invest 2013 for Georgi Toshev and Palashev. The article accuses her of no specific offence, and its claim about state ownership rests on its own legal sources. No reply from her is quoted; no prosecution or other finding is mentioned. — A-specto.bg, 31 March 2024
- Lawyer for the director in the dispute over the Velingrad hospital. Capital reports that she was the lawyer of the director, Dr Pepelov, in a dispute over control of the Velingrad hospital, and describes her as a former deputy regional governor from GERB and a candidate on the party's list. According to the paper, the dispute involved the municipal council and the regional governor, and the hospital was taken over with police assistance. No wrongdoing by her is alleged. The dispute continued in court; its outcome has not been established. — Capital, 19 April 2023
Other
- 35% partner in Vayz Invest EOOD. The papagal.bg summary of Commercial Register data shows her as a 35% partner in Vayz Invest EOOD from 21.08.2013 to 01.09.2018 and as its manager from 21.08.2013 to 02.09.2013. These data match the A-specto.bg story, according to which the firm was transferred on 7.08.2018. No sanction has been found. — papagal.bg, 2026
- Member of the supervisory board of Bulgarian ViK Holding. Economic.bg writes that in September 2023 regional minister Andrey Tsekov appointed her to the supervisory board of the state-owned Bulgarian ViK Holding. In mid-February 2024 she was replaced by former minister Ivelina Vasileva. She was the only one of the state's representatives to be replaced. The article gives no reason for the change. — Economic.bg, 14 March 2024
- Lawyer for Velingrad Municipality in cases before the Supreme Court of Cassation. The Supreme Court of Cassation hearing schedule, published in the State Gazette, shows Velingrad Municipality filing cassation appeals through lawyer Dafinka Asparuhova Semerdzhieva in civil cases from Pazardzhik Regional Court (cases 3361/2025 and 1748/2025). The hearings are set for March 2026, when she was a sitting MP. No reporting of any violation was found, and the outcome of the cases is not known. — State Gazette, 2026
