- Witness in a trial. BTA reports that among the witnesses heard at the Plovdiv District Court in the trial over more than BGN 1 million drained from the National Health Insurance Fund through "phantom pharmacies" was "the former deputy director of the regional health insurance fund Daniela Karsheva" (our translation). Four other people are the defendants; the article makes no accusation against her. — BTA, 26.11.2025
- Pardon decrees. On 15.10.2026 Mediapool quotes the Progressive Bulgaria MP opposing the We Continue the Change proposal to make publication of pardon decrees mandatory: "We do not agree to support this point (on publishing the decrees), because it is a situational legislative act, aimed at an election campaign and with regard to one person" (our translation). The amendments were tabled on 17 September, when the 2022 pardon of Ognyan Atanasov, convicted of drug trafficking, became known; according to Mediapool, PB rejected the debate by 12 votes to 7. — Mediapool, 15.10.2026
- Regional governor. On 20.10.2021 the government dismissed the Plovdiv regional governor Angel Stoev and appointed Daniela Nikolova-Karsheva to the post; she had until then been deputy regional governor of Plovdiv region. — News.bg, 20.10.2021
