Corruption and scandals
- Paid-for, unused design for a Нови Искър town hall. Mediapool reports that Sofia Municipality paid BGN 100,000 for a design of a new town hall for the district and writes: "According to experts, the designed building is unsuitable for the needs of the mayor's administration" (our translation). As mayor of Нови Искър, Raycheva asked to rent a building and proposed a swap of municipal properties with the cooperative Искра. The article does not say the design was her doing. - Leaves GERB after about 20 years. Blitz reports that she announced the decision on Facebook right after Borisov replaced her as head of the Sofia organisation with Dimitar Vuchev.
