• Against military aid to Ukraine. On Nova TV, as reported by Trud, the Velichie MP said: "Our view is that we should not give military aid to Ukraine, so as not to be drawn into a higher phase of the war" (our translation). — Trud, 20 Jun 2024
• Ties to Botev Plovdiv's Russian management, according to TrafficNews. In a headline the site presents him as having tried to set up a Battalion 12 for Anton Zingarevich, and in the text as the club's head of security before the armed organised crime group scandal, named as mentor to Valyo Petrov, ringleader of the punitive brigade. Corruption and scandals

• Request for an ad hoc committee to investigate Ivelin Mihaylov. He submitted it to parliament together with Victoria Vassileva and Georgi Kukov – three former Velichie MPs, by then non-affiliated. — BTA, 9 Jul 2024
• The detention at the Historical Park. By then non-affiliated after the Velichie group broke up, he told Focus, as relayed by Plovdiv24.bg: "I was among those held at the 'Historical Park'" (our translation). He said this happened after the vote backing Anna Aleksandrova as chair of the ad hoc committee drafting parliament's rules, and explained his presence there by a wish to make sure nothing worse would follow for the people summoned. — Plovdiv24.bg, 5 Jul 2024
• Accusations against the Historical Park. As a by then non-affiliated MP he told bTV: "a personality cult of Ivelin Mihaylov is preached there" (our translation). He also claimed that the people there practise scientology, and of the funding explained: "Everything rests on business donations, loans, they pledge properties, so that the cash flow goes to one man" (our translation). • Claims of a role in the enforcers around Botev Plovdiv. GlasNews, citing TrafficNews, writes: "It is a public secret that it was precisely the former contractor Darin Georgiev who was one of the creators of the enforcers" (our translation), headed by Valyo Petrov, at the club; Petrov and Milen Stoyanov of the armed organised crime group were kept in custody by the Military Court in Plovdiv. According to the article he publicly confirmed that he had worked at Botev and helped the owners, but distanced himself from the two and the other participants. • Anonymous allegations about his conduct towards young women at the Historical Park. The tabloid site RNS.bg, citing unnamed victims and eyewitnesses, claims that during the Balgarski Yunak camps early that year he pestered girls working there with threats and insults and forced one of them into his car.
