- His mother Suzana Nikolova – tried and acquitted over fraud in a municipal auction. Boulevard Bulgaria writes that she was a GERB municipal councillor in Plovdiv and deputy chair of the municipal council until 2011. She left GERB after a trial in which she was a defendant over alleged fraud in an auction for the sale of municipal land, and according to the outlet she was acquitted. She then continued in Volya, ABV and Izpravi se, and in spring 2023 was deputy chair of the regional election commission in 17 MIR Plovdiv-oblast, nominated by Vazrazhdane.
