- His wife Nadezhda Nikolova – on the supervisory board of Български ВиК холдинг. BIRD, reposted by glasove.com, writes that in July 2021 the caretaker government appointed his wife to the supervisory board of Български ВиК холдинг. According to the outlet, she is a former organisational secretary of GERB in Veliko Tarnovo, the board lacks sector expertise, and Nikolov's media business is linked to Делян Пеевски.
