Russia
- Fuel exports. In the economic committee Martin Dimitrov and Dzhipo Dzhipov of Democratic Bulgaria called the lifting of the fuel export ban, introduced after the US sanctions on companies of the Lukoil group, "irresponsible", "without a prior analysis of the consequences" (our translation). — Dir.bg, 02.09.2026
Corruption and scandals
- His father (Sega). Sega writes about Razgrad: "This is the home and business place of the legendary Nikola Nikolov (the "Lamb's Heads" circle of the Ivan Kostov era), today his son Dzhipo Dzhipov is an MP ("Yes, Bulgaria", DB)" (our translation). — Sega, 14.10.2026
- "Lamb's heads". In 2016 Mediapool wrote that, according to media reports from 17 years earlier, the then SDS MPs Nikola Nikolov, Krasimir Kamenov, Panayot Lyakov and others were named as part of the so-called "lamb's heads" circle, and that in 2016 Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and ministers spoke of such a circle again. Nikolov (according to Sega, the father of Dzhipo Dzhipov), chair of the parliament's economic committee in 1997-2001, denied it to Dnevnik: "There is no circle, but a group of 22 SDS activists who tabled a bill to create a financial police and opposed the Biserov-Tsonev business wing in the party" (our translation). — Mediapool, 18.11.2016
- The loans. RFE/RL writes that, according to an investigation by the NGO Anti-Corruption Fund (AKF) into Hristo Kovachki's informal holding, "at least two politicians received loans - Dzhipo Dzhipov, now a PP-DB MP from Razgrad, and Dimitar Abadzhiev" (our translation). Both denied to AKF having done anything wrong; a representative of Kovachki declined to comment to AKF. — RFE/RL, 29.05.2025
- Promissory notes. Club Z, reporting the AKF investigation, writes that it reveals "promissory notes to the holding's firms for almost BGN 2 million in the name of the PP-DB MP Dzhipo Dzhipov" (our translation). The source is the same AKF investigation. — Club Z, 30.05.2025
- The junction. Dzhipov told a press conference that he had the assurance of the Road Infrastructure Agency and of minister Daniel Mitov that in 2026 the junction of the Razgrad ring road and the Isperih road would be rebuilt as a roundabout. GERB-Razgrad, a political rival that presents the issue as its own priority, rejected his claims: "It is inadmissible for an opposition MP to attribute governing decisions that by their nature belong only to MPs of the ruling majority and to the executive" (our translation). — BTA, 25.11.2025
Other
- His father. An internal report of the inquiry commission of the Green Movement (a party in the Democratic Bulgaria coalition), published by Bivol, states that the father of Dzhipo Dzhipov, then a municipal councillor in Razgrad, is the former SDS MP (37th and 38th National Assembly) Nikola Dzhipov Nikolov, nicknamed "Agneshkata glavichka" (the lamb's head), a former aide to Vladislav Panev in the 47th and 48th National Assembly, an owner of renewable-energy businesses and a member of the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Association. The source is an internal report of one of the parties in the coalition. — Bivol, 22.08.2023
