• Post saying Russia could strike the Council of Ministers. On 18 March 2022 she wrote on Facebook: „Don't despair, there is some hope – Russia has high-precision weapons, so it can hit the Council of Ministers exactly, if Prosto Kiro sends our missiles to the clown Zelensky. We could also send them a link with the coordinates of Mustafa“ (our translation). RFE/RL reads the second sentence as readiness to point to the address of the US embassy under Ambassador Hero Mustafa. The Speaker of parliament Nikola Minchev, without naming her, called the statements „unworthy and unacceptable“ (our translation), and more than 30 ambassadors condemned the post, Sega writes. Corruption and scandals

• Specialised Prosecutor's Office check for treason. The Specialised Prosecutor's Office opened a check for treason under Art. 98 of the Criminal Code over the post, on signals from citizens. The former prosecutor Andrey Yankulov and the lawyer Mikhail Ekimdzhiev told RFE/RL that the post is not a crime; in Ekimdzhiev's words: „What Guncheva did is inappropriate and stupid, but it is not a crime, let alone treason and incitement to war“ (our translation). — RFE/RL Bulgarian Service, 31.03.2022
• Two disciplinary files at the Bar Association. The Plovdiv Bar Association, of which she is a member, tells Sega: „Following a media report on the scandal of 29 March, a disciplinary file has been opened against Guncheva.“ (our translation) This is the second file; the first was opened on a signal of 28 March over other posts of hers on Facebook. — Sega, 01.04.2022

• Leaves Vazrazhdane and parliament, blaming the leadership. She announced on Facebook that when her sick leave ended she would resign as an MP and leave Vazrazhdane: „But I no longer trust the leader“ (our translation). Among the reasons she named chaotic legislative work, a ban on speaking to the media and the lack of accountability for part of the MPs' funds, RFE/RL writes.
