• The contract with the rector's mother. As deputy rector of Sofia University he signed in 2018 a civil contract between the university and the mother of then rector Anastas Gerdzhikov; KPKONPI found no conflict of interest because the contract "was not signed by her son but by his deputy, Prof. Georgi Valchev" (our translation). — Mediapool, 01.10.2021
