Corruption and scandals
- Left Продължаваме промяната on 26 June 2025. Georgi Klisurski announced on his Facebook profile that he was leaving Продължаваме промяната: „Разочарован и омерзен“ (our translation: "Disappointed and disgusted"), Сега reports. The decision came during the Sofia public-procurement scandal involving former deputy mayor Nikola Barbutov, whom, according to the paper, the prosecutor's office charged. The sources contain no accusation against Klisurski himself. On 10 September 2025 he was appointed deputy mayor of Sofia. — Sega, 26.06.2025
- GERB allegation about civil contracts with Sofia Municipality. On 12 June 2025 Stefan Markov, a GERB municipal councillor and a political opponent of the ruling majority in Sofia Municipality, alleged in the Sofia Municipal Council that the municipality had hired a former deputy finance minister from Asen Vasilev's team. According to Сега, it concluded civil contracts with Klisurski for 8,000 BGN. The amount is disputed: Епицентър reports 8,000 BGN per month, while Сега reports a total sum. Klisurski does not deny this and says he had two contracts in two different periods. The sources contain no evidence of a prosecution or audit check of the contracts. — Sega, 26.06.2025
