Corruption and scandals

  • As minister, speaks of controlled voting. Hasan Ademov, then caretaker Minister of Labour and Social Policy and an APS politician, said in a BNR interview that the social system had often been used for controlled voting, Mediapool writes. In his words, the ministry sent signals to the prosecutor's office. He cited cases in the Blagoevgrad, Pleven, Kardzhali and Ruse regions, and a Social Assistance Directorate head in the Blagoevgrad area who, he said, campaigned. These are Ademov's own claims about his official actions, not an allegation against him. According to the research, two signals were reported; the outcome has not been found. — Mediapool.bg, 03.2026

Other

  • APS stays out of the 52nd National Assembly. APS, the party Ademov moved to, received 1.567% (50,759 votes) in the election of 19.04.2026 and has no seats. According to the research, the result comes from CIK and bgizbori snippets that were not opened in full. No office has been found for Ademov after the caretaker government ended on 08.05.2026. Cross.bg relayed his BNT interview (Денят започва) under the headline „Хасан Адемов: Предложението за пропорционално изчисляване на стажа цели да възстанови равнопоставеност и справедливост“ (our translation: Hasan Ademov: The proposal for pro-rata calculation of length of service aims to restore equality and fairness). — Cross.bg, 22 July 2026
  • Acknowledges blame on the part of APS supporters. In a bTV interview, Ademov said that APS supporters carry their share of the blame for the captured-state model, but that the whole blame cannot be put on them alone, Сега writes. The statement is his own and concerns his own party. The party later registered as a separate one and stood on its own in the April 2026 election. — Сега, 02.2026
