Corruption and scandals
- Recording of pressure on her to leave parliament. On 13 June 2022 the leadership of her own party ИТН (Yordanov) played a recording in which minister Radostin Vasilev presses her to leave the parliamentary group and the National Assembly. This happened during the split with Vasilev's faction; he denies making threats. She has said she had been threatened before. Prosecutors charged him with attempted coercion under Art. 143(1) of the Criminal Code, with her as the alleged victim, Klub Z writes. — Klub Z, 7 Nov 2023
- Radostin Vasilev, charged with coercing her, is acquitted. The Sofia City Court's verdict is dated 27 May 2025. Prosecutors had asked for four months, suspended, with a three-year probation period. - Court testimony about pressure from the ИТН leadership. Testifying before the Sofia City Court in November 2023, she said that ИТН officials directed how she should live and work in parliament. Клуб Z quotes her: "I was told that I must live with Deyan" (our translation). She says this is the MP Deyan Petkov, whom she describes as an aide to Vasilev. She also claims she sat on committees chosen for her and that Vasilev told her how to vote on laws. The Клуб Z subtitle mentions the vote on aid to Ukraine. The testimony is one side in a criminal case that ended in acquittal, and the court did not accept the coercion charge. — Klub Z, 7 Nov 2023
