The website agentibg.com, which publishes archive cards, lists him as agent KIRIL of the Sixth Directorate of State Security for combating ideological subversion: recruited on 28 November 1975 by Tsvetan Petkov, who ran him together with Mladen Mladenov, used in the Academy of Sciences and among the intelligentsia, and removed from operational records in 1989. According to the same publication, his personal file (97 sheets) and working file (195 sheets) were destroyed under a protocol of May 1990 by an expert commission, approved by the head of the State Security archive, Gen.
