- Agent of the Sixth Directorate of State Security. The Dossier Commission named him when it checked the senior staff of BNT after 1989. He was checked as the television's director-general in 1995–1996. Mediapool writes: „Псевдонимът му е бил Огнян, вербуван е през 1983 година, като няма данни за снемане от действащ оперативен отчет.“ (our translation: his pseudonym was Огнян, he was recruited in 1983, and there are no data on his removal from the active operative records).
