- ГЕРБ in Sliven: landscaping contracts for one Burgas firm. At a session of the Sliven municipal council the opposition ГЕРБ group asked why the municipality awards contract after contract to the Burgas firm Бургасцвет Танев 90 ЕООД, owned by Васил Танев, and whether it suits the mayor. ГЕРБ councillors think it does. Flagman.bg writes that the firm received a considerable sum through a direct landscaping contract and won orders worth over 9 million BGN in four years. Of the three public procurements for landscaping in 2014, the March one was terminated by the КЗК over violations in its preparation and conduct, and the May one still had no contractor selected, while the mayor kept assigning work to the company. — Flagman.bg, 13.02.2015
