Russia

  • Moscow, 2024. In February 2024 a Vazrazhdane delegation visited the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry at the invitation of United Russia. The academy's announcement does not name the delegation; according to Mediapool, the published photo allows the conclusion "with a great degree of certainty" (our translation) that it included the MPs Angel Georgiev, Kosta Stoyanov, Daniel Petrov and Ivelin Parvanov. — Mediapool, 19.02.2024
  • The BRICS forum. In August 2024, according to the Vazrazhdane press office, Stoyanov was part of the party's delegation, led by Kostadin Kostadinov, at the International BRICS forum in Moscow. — BTA, 26.08.2024
  • The Victory Day parade. In May 2025, according to a Vazrazhdane press release published in BTA's official-messages section, Stoyanov accompanied Kostadinov to Moscow for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism. — BTA, 08.05.2025

Corruption and scandals

  • The Varna procurement. In July 2026 Stoyanov claimed at a press conference that Varna municipality is preparing two public contracts for street repairs worth nearly EUR 9 million excluding VAT, with artificially inflated unit prices, and said he would press the competent institutions for a full inspection. The municipal administration rejected the claims and said the procedures were held in full public view, with real competition and under the Public Procurement Act. — BTA, 28.07.2026
  • The corridor. In August 2024 PP-DB MP Yavor Bozhankov claimed on Facebook that Stoyanov showed physical and verbal aggression towards him in the parliament corridor, a day after the adoption of the bill against mentioning the LGBT community to children, which Bozhankov had criticised. He also published a video in which, according to RFE/RL, Stoyanov bumps him with his chest and Bozhankov pushes him back with his hands. Bozhankov is a party to the dispute; the article gives no reply from Stoyanov. — RFE/RL, 08.08.2024
