Corruption and scandals
- Peevski. On bTV he commented on the information, announced by Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev, that Delyan Peevski had travelled to Dubai together with constitutional judge Desislava Atanasova: "It is very important not only the trips, but how these trips were actually financed. Since you know that Peevski is sanctioned under Magnitsky, a scheme was used there, let us say, to get around the law – payment through a law firm" (our translation). On a resignation by Atanasova he said: "This is now a matter of a moral act by the person about whom this data was disclosed.
