Corruption and scandals
- ИТН tries and fails to remove him from its list. The party registered him third on its list for София област, and on 2 March asked for his removal. The RIK refused: under the law this is possible only if a candidate is permanently unable to take part or applies to withdraw, and the party gave proof of neither. The next request was to move him to last place. That was refused by the RIK, then by the CIK, and finally by the Administrative Court in София област, whose decision cannot be appealed. He therefore stayed third. Mediapool writes that the reason for the party's change of attitude is unclear. Кръстев and ИТН declined to comment to Капитал.
