Corruption and scandals
- NewsRoomBG: a meeting with Yashar Asan before the election. NewsRoomBG writes that Rosen Kosturkov, leader of the list in Plovdiv-Oblast, and Martin Zaimov, 19th on the same list, parliamentary candidates of PP and DB, met Yashar Asan, whom the outlet describes as a Roma boss, a former municipal councillor and a former DPS man in the city; Asan himself publicised the meeting on Facebook. According to the outlet, the aim was to court him and the occasion was the 2 April election; it admits it can only guess whether there is a financial side. It also asks whether PP-DB will win elections with a controlled vote from the Roma neighbourhoods and says it will refer the matter to Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev.
