- His father. According to Mediapool he is the son of Teodor Stoev, a former chairman of the supervisory board of the Privatisation Agency (NDSV quota); by his own account he worked for four years in his father's law firm "Stankov, Stoev and Partners". The investigative site BIRD claims that the father is a senior partner in Komidor AD with Kristiyan Hristov and Plamen Markov, owners of Alepu Village and investors in the Alepu "retaining-wall hotel"; Stoev answered that his father has nothing to do with the Alepu "Retaining Wall". — Mediapool, 21.05.2023
- The declaration. Mediapool notes that in his asset declaration he entered a partnership in a firm with his father as "S + consult" instead of "S Plus Consult" as in the Commercial Register. On bTV Stoev said this was minor and changed nothing. — Mediapool, 21.05.2023
