Corruption and scandals

  • Named among the attackers of Enimehmedov at the NDK. Actualno.com lists him among the delegates at the DPS conference in the NDK on 19.01.2013 who beat and kicked Oktay Enimehmedov after his attempt to fire a gas pistol at Ahmed Dogan: „Исмет Исмаил, Танер Али, Джамисет Джафер, Красимир Минчев и Тимур Халилов“ (our translation: Ismet Ismail, Taner Ali, Dzhamiset Dzhafer, Krasimir Minchev and Timur Halilov). He was then mayor of Antonovo and got the nicknames Лачената обувка (the Patent Shoe) and Ритникът на ДПС (the DPS Kicker). There is no charge against him. — Actualno.com, December 2015
  • The case over the beating of Enimehmedov was closed. Webcafe.bg reports that the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office closed the case after almost two and a half years. Prosecutor Silvia Sokolova held that it had not been established who caused which injury, and that the attackers' motives were not hooligan ones. None of the delegates, Taner Ali among them, was punished. Enimehmedov himself was finally sentenced by the Supreme Court of Cassation to 3.5 years in prison for hooliganism and a threat to kill Dogan, according to Clubz. — Webcafe.bg, May 2015

Other

  • Co-chair of APS, Dogan's party. Svobodna Evropa reports that when APS, Ahmed Dogan's party, was founded, Taner Ali was elected co-chair responsible for „Организационна дейност и регионална политика“ (organisational activity and regional policy; our translation). Novinata.bg describes a meeting of the APS regional council in Razgrad, held in Isperih, attended by the co-chairs Dimitar Nikolov, Sevim Ali and him. The information about the event comes from the party itself. — Svobodna Evropa, November 2025, Novinata.bg, 18.10.2026
