Other

  • Expelled from the DPS parliamentary group. BNR described him as a member of the party's Central Operational Bureau (ЦОБ) and one of the signatories of the letter to the honorary chairman, Ahmed Dogan; on the radio he said that he and colleagues had voted against Rosen Zhelyazkov's cabinet because they followed Dogan's will. 24 Chasa reported the expulsion, quoting his forecast: "Next week we will probably be 34, and why not 40" (our translation). By then not a member of any group, he told BTA that he and Ibraim Zaydenov had been authorised by the chairman, Dzhevdet Chakarov, to register the party for the election, and that there is only one DPS, while "everything else is fraud, sham and manipulation" (our translation). — BNR, Horizont, 5 July 2024, 24 Chasa, 13 July 2024, BTA, 2 September 2024
  • Announced the exit of Democracy, Rights and Freedoms – DPS from the governing majority. After a joint session of the parliamentary group and the Central Operational Bureau he said: "Today, on the grounds on which we entered it then, we are leaving this majority" (our translation). As the reason he said that GERB, BSP and ITN had abandoned the cordon sanitaire and serve the interests of Delyan Peevski, sanctioned under Magnitsky, who in his words runs the Council of Ministers single-handedly. — BTA, 15 April 2025
  • Demands after the vote. Having been on the candidate lists of the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, he urged the president to refer the electoral violations to the Constitutional Court and demanded a temporary committee to examine Delyan Peevski's role in the events around KTB, Bulgartabac, BBR and the 8 Dwarves scandal, as well as his influence in the prosecution service and the judiciary. — BTA, 4 November 2024
  • Accusations against Delyan Peevski over DANS. As a former MP he said on BNR's Неделя 150: "Peevski has taken over the last institution as well and put DANS in his showcase as a trophy" (our translation). In his view this will clear the way to the premiership, through which the way out of Magnitsky passes. — BNR, Horizont, 1 June 2025
  • Claim of a police operation against DPS youth activists. In a video on the DPS Press Centre Facebook page, quoted by BTA, he said that Youth DPS activists invited by Ahmed Dogan to his property in Boyana had called the police, and instead of an inventory "we got a group of about 400 police officers and gendarmes, who came to the house" (our translation). In his account, the police removed them, citing an anonymous 112 call from someone claiming to be the owner of the property. — BTA, 12 April 2025
