Corruption and scandals
- In 2022, manager of the state-owned Плод-зеленчук – Gabrovo. За истината writes that he was appointed from the end of February, while BSP regional chair in Gabrovo. The Ministry of Economy and Industry referred questions about the reasons to the new manager and declined to disclose his salary; he in turn advised asking the ministry, did not say whether the appointment was political and did not comment on the figure of 5,000 leva given by the outlet's sources. According to the article he has no experience in managing fruit and vegetable trade. At the end of September, while he was heading the BSP list for the 2 October elections, caretaker economy minister Nikola Stoyanov dismissed him and reinstated Hilda Tsvarkaleva, whom the author calls a GERB nominee.
