Mediapool reports, from the public register of the anti-corruption commission КПКОНПИ, that Asenov was among ten ИТН MPs who had not filed the asset and interest declaration required by law. Party leader Slavi Trifonov was among them. The outlet does not say how long he was late, and the commission has not said whether it opened inspections. Together with his ITN colleague Aleksandar Rashev he sent written questions to institutions, and the group then presented a declaration, Banker.bg writes. According to it, Ukrainian refugees' vehicles caused over BGN 860,000 of damage to the budget. The party says it does not oppose Ukrainians seeking asylum and understands the tragedy of the war.
