- The legal committee. On 14 October 2026 a session of the legal committee, which she chairs, failed for lack of a quorum: 10 of its 24 members attended. Progressive Bulgaria has 13 members on the committee; Tyankova was its only representative at the session. The agenda was a PP bill to publish all presidential pardon decrees; Nikolay Denkov (PP) claimed that "Progressive Bulgaria sabotaged the hearing in parliament" (our translation), and the next day PB voted down the debate by 12 votes to 7. — Mediapool, 15.10.2026
- The VTU election. In April 2019, amid mutual accusations of pressure around the rector election at Veliko Tarnovo University, student council chair Ivan Marinov claimed that rector Prof. Bondzholov had thwarted the election of student representatives to the general assembly. As chair of the university's central electoral commission, Tyankova stated the opposite: that "by their behaviour the students and doctoral students refuse to fill their quota in the general assembly" (our translation) and had themselves caused the election to fail. — Mediapool, 19.04.2019
